U2415, Daisychain, not compatibility with DP to HDMI Cable
Hello,
I have Dell U2415 MST capable monitor. It is connected with DP cable to EVGA (Nvidia) GTX1070 graphics card. DP output is connected to DP to HDMI converter cable and HDMI is connected to another monitor. In U2415 settings I have enabled DP1.2 option. But I am not able to see anything on second monitor. I want to know whether this is right combination, settings or I need to purchase DP enabled monitor as second display instead of DP to HDMI cable?

Daisychaining can only be done via DP and mDP. So the DP out to HDMI is no go. The second monitor has to have DP in or mDP in. Notice on page 27 of the User's Guide, the picture shows the second monitor using DP in =
