U2415, white brightness uniformity problem

Hello,

There were some posts about brightness uniformity on black (aka. light leakage) but my problem is a bad uniformity on 100% white. Corners are darker, can't really measure it by any means but just checking the brightness of a photo pixels the drop compared to center is 40-42%. I wasn't even checking any test patterns, saw it while browsing the internet. Brand new unit, HDMI in, brightness / contrast 55/65 respectively (any brighter burns my eyes and has the same symptom).

I remember from years ago, working at the LG factory in Poland, we sometimes had similar symptoms and it was always raising concerns of the final assembly guys. I think we would conditionally accept it on some low-end televisions, but never on the computer monitor.

Is there any standard on the brightness uniformity on full white?

Each panel will have different settings when the factory calibration is done by the manufacturer. That U2415 passes our manufacturer specifications for overall uniformity.

No, the data is considered Dell and manufacturer confidential. All I can tell is that one passes.
