U2515H, no computer boot on with DP port attached
I recently build a new computer. Will boot when monitor is turned off - and monitor on later will work. Difficult thing to explain - so I made a youtube video. Simply put my computer fails to boot when I have the DP attached. Will boot when the monitor is turned off. If I turn on my monitor after boot everything is fine. Have talked to my motherboard gfx producer and they think it is a monitor problem. I would be grateful for any assistance.

Test the monitor on another computer that has DP out. If the same issue occurs, the DP cable or the monitor could be faulty. If the issue does not occur on a different computer, the fault lies with the first computer.

I am on my 3rd DP cable - so don't think the problem is there.
I have not tried it on a 2nd computer - since I do not have two computers with DP.
I have tried with my wifes apple laptop thru thunderbolt - works - but can't really compare the two (I think).

They (apple) say that their TB port is the same as mDP, but I also have doubts about this. Get an exchange. If the replacement U2515H has the same issue, the monitors are not at fault.
