U2715H, Comparing to 4k, looking jagged and pixelated?

Hey all.

I had a pair of 4K LED monitors for the past couple years. One of them had a bad board, so I figured it would be a good opportunity to upgrade them both. While they aren't an upgrade in resolution, I picked up a pair of Dell Ultrasharp u2715h's as I figured they would be an upgrade in quality.

However, since setting up the monitors, despite being 1440p, everything looks a little pixelated. Everything has this video game sprite feel to it. I know things are no longer 4k, but something doesn't seem correct. Am I missing some key setting here? Nothing looks smooth or crisp. Everything looks a little jagged and I'm wondering if it's simply me being used to 4k.

I'll attach two images to show what I mean; I took them with my phone, because I don't think screenshots will actually represent what I'm seeing on my own physical monitors.

I'm running Windows 10 64 bit and a GTX 1080ti. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
