U2715H, cross-hatching
I just got a brand new U2715H and its got an annoying hatch pattern in the mid-left part of the screen. The pattern is really noticeable when you are looking at an evenly coloured image and is really annoying especially when browsing. The pattern is also visible during the 'LCD Conditioning' screens so that rules out my pc/cables. I was wandering if this is a known issue or if I should be getting a replacement, after all its a fairly expensive monitor and expected the display to be perfect. My fear is that I get another one with another defect: This is the second monitor I bought in the last month. The first one was a U2713HM and had a spec of dust under the screen. I eventually returned it for a refund. The pattern is mostly visible on green/white/cyan backgrounds

All you can do is get a monitor exchange. The Dell worldwide monitor exchange policy is as follows =
Inside the first 30 days from the Dell invoice date
* You may return the monitor for refund or credit
* You may request a New monitor exchange
Outside the first 30 days from the Dell invoice date
* All monitor exchanges will be refurbished
