Hi,

I purchased a U3818DW 2019 last year to use from my home office. I have two MacBook Pro's. When I connect my MacBook Pro to the U3818DW its great!!! Love the quality of the image. However, periodically the U3818DW screen goes dark and my MacBook Pro reconfigures as if there is no external monitor. Some extra info:

1. This seems to happen whenever the cpu is loaded OR when the battery is not 100%. I thought perhaps the laptop was charging from the U3818DW and the U3818DW wasn't capable of the current draw of the MacBook Pro.  Because of this I also plug in an external MacBook Pro power adapter to keep the machine charged but still the U3818DW powers down.
2. This happens on multiple computers so it does not seem machine specific.
3. The firmware of the U3818DW is M3B106
4. I had DELL exchange the U3818DW a few months back and the replacement exhibits the same issue.
5. I am using the USB3C cable for the video interconnect

Is this a general incompatibility?  I have to imagine there are lots of people at least attempting to use this monitor with a MacBook Pro.
