U3821DW, MacBook Pro USB-C, audio static
Hi All
I'm using a MacBook pro with my U3821DW via USB-C
When the USB-C is plugged into the Dell U3821DW I'm getting a static audio noise on my MacBook's 3.5mm audio jack
This stops as soon as I unplug the USB-C cable.
I've tried moving USB-C cable to other ports and different audio devices like headphones and different audio cables nothing made a difference. I use this same laptop on another monitor (LG) at my work with USB-C to supply charge and video feed and there is no static.

For anyone running into this same issue, if you switch over to your MacBook's power supply the static noise will disappear.
But you have to make sure you plug the USB-C cables in the following order
1. USB-C from your MacBook charger
2. USB-C from your monitor

Having the same issue.
Doesnt plugging in the power defeat the purpose of having a USBC monitor?
