U4320Q, low contrast, #3
I have the same issue as well, my monitor measures just 396:1 when I have tried with an i1 Display Pro. Reviews on the net I have seen 673:1 which is much better. I tried the same settings as the reviewer without good results. Do I have a bad panel? I will send this back if I don't get an answer on this.

I recently bought an U4320Q and out of the box (Color preset: Standard) I measured the monitor with over 10000K with my i1 Display Pro calibrator. It had a very high bluestick over the screen, the picture was very "cold". Is this standard mode for this display? I mean, that much white/blue can not be good for the eyes. I thought this monitor was factory calibrated to 6500K in the Standard preset mode? Am I wrong?
After calibration of this display the picture got decent but not good;
White point: 6481K
Black luminance: 0.261 (Not very good in my opinion)
Luminance: 120 cd/m2 (Lowered the brightness on the display, not by software)
Contrast ratio: 455.899:1 (This is not even near the specification on 1000:1)
If I lower the brightness on the screen to approx 90 cd/m2 I get even worse contrast ratio;
399.089:1.
I have bought this screen in Sweden and can get it back to the store and get my money back,
but I want to know if I have a bad example or is this normal for this screen?
Is it worth the try another example to see if that is better?
I calibrated my old Dell P2415Q that is soon 5 years old with the following result that is much better and that display is not even an Ultrasharp.
White point: 6513K
Black luminance: 0.177 cd /m2
Luminance: 120 cd/m2
Contrast: 675.815:1
Very glad to hear your opinions about this.
Thanks in advance
