UP2716D and P2418D, different color with same settings
By using exactly the same factory settings, I have noticed a significant difference in white level between these 2 monitors, with 2418 actually having a much better white level (closer to pure white). 2716 - although a more expensive monitor - seems to be much worse.
They are both connected on my TB16 docking station (2716 with HDMI and 2418 with DP)
Any idea why is that?

I once bought a pair of U2717D displays that looked fine but wanted to exchange one because the rear plastic would creak and crackle whenever I adjusted the display on the stand. The replacement's panel looked yellowish compared to the two displays I already had, even after matching settings and connector types, which certainly would have been a worse problem to deal with especially since I'd be keeping one of the originals anyway. So I sent that replacement back and got ANOTHER replacement that had the same issue. I ended up sending that one back as well and just kept the two I originally received.
I'm surprised the UP2716D has a less accurate white point than the P2418D, but I'm not remotely surprised that they don't match each other even when their settings match.

Adding further troubleshooting =
* To what specific PC model and operating system is the TB16 connected?
* Can you test the UP2716D HDMI/HDMI/DP/mDP in ports directly from the PC?
* Disconnect the P2418D from the TB16
* Disconnect the UP2716D from the TB16
* Test them one at a time on the TB16
P2418D =
TB16 HDMI out port --> same HDMI to HDMI cable --> P2418D HDMI in port
UP2716D =
TB16 DP out port --> UP2716D DP to mDP cable --> UP2716D mDP in port
TB16 DP out port --> DP to DP cable --> UP2716D DP in port
