I just attached a flat screen monitor to my computer, but could not get any display.. Actually, I did get a display but it disappeared after a split second.
I followed the Dell troubleshooting instructions but the self-test image appears for only a split second and then disappears and the screen goes black..
The green power light comes on and stays on.
When I hook the PC back up to the CRT monitor I get the correct display.
Please let me know what the problem may be and how to correct it.

* What specific video card?
* What ports are on the video card?
* What port are you using from the video card to what port on the monitor?|
* Are you using the Dell supplied cable?
