s2740L HDMI Overscan for HDMI video

I purchased 5 of the dell s2740L monitors to use as video monitors.  So they are not hooked up to a computer where I can adjust the over scan.  They are being fed a 1920x1080 60hz signal, but the the image is off the screen on all sides and looks blurry due to the monitors scaling.   Is there a way to make the monitor not rescale the image to a larger size?

Thanks

Adam

adam3914,

If they are not connected to a PC, explain in detail how you are sending a signal to them. Have you gone into the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) Menu and played with the Display Settings?

Hi Adam,

You may adjust the Display settings in OSD menu and see if it helps. For more information, you may refer to user's guide Here.

Hope this helps.

I tried the Display settings menu but most of the choices are grayed out.  The video aspect ratio is the only option and that is already set correctly.  The monitor is hooked up to a local high definition cable tv system, that output 1080i resolution.

* Via what cabling? Perhaps you could post pictures of how the monitors are connected.
