Backup Legato indexes seperately
Hi,
When I want to back separately from a daily or weekly backup my client file index in Legato Networker, i type
> savegroup -O -l full Groupname
In that way, i write to tape a backup of the indexes of the systems belonging to Group1.
Can i backup as well with 1 line (per operation) the media database, the configuration database and the Networker console database ?
And is Networker console database automaticaly taken by the command above if i specify the NMCASA:/gst_on_servername/lgto_gst ?

Hi,
You'll find Full details are here in NetWorker Administration Guide Page 78 - How to Backup the NetWorker Management Console Database. Your savegrp -O command will not backup the console database. You will need the NMCASA backup aswell.
The savegrp -O will backup the bootstrap data as well as the indexes which corresponds to the NetWorker media database and configuration database. I'd recommend you read the Disaster Recovery Guide for more details on what you need to be doing to be fully prepared for a disaster.
