Client backup configuration problem
Dear all,
Networker 7.6
Host on win2k8 srv.
Client on win2k8 srv.
Firewalls off.
RPC ping using UDP when connecting to NetWorker is unchecked.
So, I'm trying to set up a new client and the result is always the same. The progressbar stacks at 33%...any ideas?

Hello, Even if firewall is off the firewall service has to be disabled, strange but true. Try it might work.

Hi,
If the connectivity is proper the try deleting the nsr peer information on server and client.
Steps:
1) Go to networker server command line
2) Go to the location /nsr/res
3) Type the command nsradmin -p nsrexec
4) print type:nsr peer information; name:client name (you have to
give the name of the client in the place of client name)
5) Delete
6) Y
7) Now go to the client command line
8) got to the location /nsr/res
9) Type the command nsradmin -p nsrexec
10) print type:nsr peer information
11) Delete
12) Y

the the connectivity is fine. I will try what Arun said and I lwill inform you.
