'Configure Networker' privilege

Dear All,

Have a Server running on a SLES 10 box and Console on 2003 Server. When trying to add new clients and even setting up a backup location for the Console Database I get the following error:

Permission denied, user 'administrator' on 'CONSOLE.lab-sanbi.org' does not have 'Configure Networker' privilege to craete this resource.

I have added necessary users and hosts via :

nsradmin -p nsrexec

.... interface.

Have I missed out on something ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Yes :D

Configure NetWorker is permission you assign on backup server in appropriate group where you will list user. Usually you have predefines User Groups as Users and Administrators, but with additional license you can create more groups. That is where you must configure your user and host and not in local nsrla database as you did.
