Configuring Netapp C mode 8.2 NDMP backups to Netwokrer 8.2.1.6
We are migrating netapp 7 mode storage to Netapp Cluster mode storage.. we have configured 7 mode filers into backup already but need to migrate them to cluster mode
Now I need to configure Netapp C mode 8.2 filers into Net worker, we are using the Quantum I scalr tape library as destination
Please guide to configure the below on Net worker
1) NDMP Storage Node
2) NDMP client
3) NDMP Devices for tape library in Alphastore

NetWorker 8.2 SP1 and later support for NetApp c-mode requires the NDMP v4 Cluster Aware Backup (CAB) extension.
For NetApp in a cluster mode, tape drivers are only attached to physical nodes. The tape
drivers are not accessible from the Vserver. To enable backups to the tape drivers, you
must configure a NAS client with a physical node on the NetWorker server. Meaning you
must configure Device and storage pool with the physical node. The devices are also
accessible from the cluster. Another option is to create a NAS client of the cluster, and
configure Device and Storage pool with the cluster.

Hi Gautam,
Thanks for your answer, can you please confirm if Networker 8.2.1 supports CAB feature for Netapp C mode 8.2
Please provide if you have tech doc related to Networker NDMP backups for Netapp C mode.
