DB2 9.7 Scheduled Backup Failed Using NMDB2 4.0 on Networker 7.6

  1. Next I try to create DB2 backup job manually and try to run. But it failed. You can find errors in log file.

Next I try to backup DB2 database in DB2 client. That's OK.

Using the following command

Db2 backup db CUSTDB load c:\db2_legato\libnsrdb2.dll @options c:\db2_legato\nmddb2.new

It can be backed up to the networker server's staging disk volume.

It is either auth problem when running server initiated backup (as it could not attach to database) or some env variable is wrong or missing.  Usually, when this works from client side, you can do set to check DB2 options set and fill those into DB2 parameters used for backup.

I have recorrected one env variable in nmdb2.cfg. Schedule backup is ok.

Thanks for your advice.
