EMC OFM 9.1 with HP-MSA1000

Dear All,

My customer has to used EMC Open file manager version 9.1 on Windows 2003 with MSA-1000 External SAN Storage and Networker 7.x.

Problem statement :
" The E drive was losing file system table which resulted in getting message ¿ disk E is not formatted ¿ at Disk management screen"

When I look at OS System.evt log it will show
" The description for Event ID ( 14 ) in Source ( OFMLvDrv ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: , synchronization. "

Who can explanation about that message and method to solve that?.

Thank & Regards.

Open this with support and they will get you in touch with OFM engineer (or give you latest OFM version which is 9.40 and then if you have the same problem - it it is related to OFM code - they will work further).

To me it looks more like informative notice than error message - part of normal OFM operations. However second message found in event messages may indicate different kind of trouble. Did you run chkdsk as suggested?

Yes, It can running by HP technical. Which they report to customer is successes (not problem on disk).

and Why then I stop service ofm it not appear error about disk?.
What ofm service effect to disk?.

Thank you.
