Error with running scanner command - Media DB error: invalid query for client id map database
Hello there,
When I try run the scanner command, I always get this error:
C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\bin>scanner \\.\Tape1
8909:scanner: using '\\.\Tape1' as the device name
8936:scanner: scanning LTO Ultrium-4 tape HDF893L4 on \\.\Tape1
39078:scanner: Media DB error: invalid query for client id map database
Even when I tired aonther Media and onther Tape

Hi,
Could you give us a little more detail please on what you are trying to do and under what circumstances you are getting this error. What version of NetWorker are you on? Does this happen for savesets that are spanning multiple volumes only or on all volumes? Please run scanner in verbose mode also please as this gives more detail - scanner -vvvvv \\.\Tape1 Are backups and recovers working here but scanner not? Does scanner -i succeed but with this error message or does it fail?
