Exchange 2010 backup fail with NMM 2.4
The environment is the next one:
Windows 2008
Exchange 2010
Networker 8.0.2
NMM 2.4
Initially, this Exchange Server was part of a DAG, but for test only, a pair of Databases was created outside the DAG configuration for can backed up as a Standalone, so, the issue are that we can't backup that Databases.
Here are the errors in the Group Details:

EMC config checker shows 2 failures,
PUBLICFOLDER_DB_CONFIGURATION_CHECK
DatabaseName : Public Folder Database 0622908888
EdbFilePath : C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Mailbox\Public Folder Database 0622908888\Public Folder Database 0622908888.edb
LogFolderPath : C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Mailbox\Public Folder Database 0622908888
The database path and log path must be in different folders for above databases.
CIRCULAR_LOGGING_CHECK
Name CircularLoggingEnabled
---- ----------------------
MBMM02 True
MBDIR01 True
MBMM01 True
MBMERDIR01 True
MBCEMABE01 True
Circular logging for above databases should be disabled for backups to pass.
I would suggest you to fix the failure and test backup.

All the parameters on the checklist have to be passed before you start configuring the backups. Go ahead and fix the 2 failed parameters with the given suggestion.

Thanks for your reply.
I only want to know one thing. There are only two Databases that I care about the backup, those are MBPRUEBA1 and MBPRUEBA00, and in the config checker output, the fail in the CIRCULAR LOGGING doesn't show these Databases, even so I need to solve this Fail? Although the Circular Logging is enabled in databases that we don't want to backup?

Hi Julio,
If you specify the saveset for those 2 DB's and disabled circular logging backup should work fine, however I would recommend you, if you intend to have circular logging enabled, to upgrade the client to NW 8.1.x and NMM 3.0, which allows you to backup DB's with circular logging enabled, and will promote the backup always to full (as with circular logging enabled logs will be truncated automatically when you reach the limit set in the configuration of the DB itself in Exchange).
