Hello,
Can you please go the client configuration and provide below parameters from your cofiguration,
a. Backup command
b. application information
(You will find under apps & modules)

Backup command: nsrsnap_vss_save
App Info:
NSR_SNAP_TYPE=vss
NSR_VSS_FORCE_SYSTEM_PROVIDER=yes
NSR_ALT_PATH=D:\Exchange-Snap
NSR_EXCH2010_BACKUP=passive
NSR_EXCH2010_DAG=gblondag01.firm.ashursts.biz
Also tried following App info which results in same error
NSR_EXCH_RETAIN_SNAPSHOTS=yes
NSR_ALT_PATH=d:\
NSR_EXCH2010_DAG=GBLONDAG01.firm.ashursts.biz
NSR_EXCH_CHECK=no
NSR_ESE_UTIL_SEQUENTIAL=False
NSR_ESE_UTIL_THROTTLE=False
NSR_CHECK_JET_ERRORS=all

Do you have snapshot enabled on the group ?
