Exchange databases not visible for RDB restore in NMM
As I am having difficulties doing a GLR restore (which is another story), I wanted to do a RDB restore. However while NMM GUI displays the databases for restore for regular and GLR restore views, it doesn't display any databases if I select a RDB restore. There are no errors of any kind in NMM logs (including the libmapibrowse log). The GLR and RDB problems might be related, but at least the GLR displays the databases for the restore.
Tried installing the lastest NMM build (122), but that didn't make a difference.
I would appreciate any ideas the community cares to share.

Which version is that? (eg. 3.0 GA was build 282). I also noted that you carry EMC tag and to my knowledge there exists hidden internal forum for EMC folks which you should use instead

I trust you more.
NW is 8.0.2, hence NMM 2.4.1.

I'm now talking top of my head and without verifying, but if I remember correctly in the past (on these forums) it has been said that full GLR was part of NMM 3 plus I think there was certain dependency in terms that you had to run disk backup (eg. if backup went to tape you could not do it). Try to search for this.

Hi ribosom,
There are 3 options under Exchange Restore in NMM, use Database recover option instead or RDB

Al the requirements are there, GLR works for the smaller database and chokes during browsing for the big that, that is why I want to try with the RDB recover (which also worked at least once in the past).

I cannot use database recover as it will overwrite the production database.
