Would you please clarify more your issue? I didnt get what you mean by your question, you trying to recover the user mailbox but you dont know which storage group this user was member in or you are looking for the restore procedures from NetWorker ?
If you are looking for the restore procedure, so are you using Mailboxes Backup or the Information store backup ? and which module you are backing up Exchange with, NMM or NME ?
I apologize, so hopefully I can clarify the issue. We have an exchange server where the emails are backed up in a specified group. Certain groups are all backed up together but the supervisor emails are backed up to a specified group in case we have to restore one of the users mailbox rather that the whole company mailbox. We use the NetWorker Console 7.5 to manage our backups and NetWorker User 7.5 to recover files that have been backed up to tape.
So what I need to figure out is how to recover emails from an executive's mailbox who is no longer with the company. I will provide as much info on the group that the person is assigned to in hopes to clarify the issue some.

As I understand now that you have Exchange 2007 backed up by NME and you have backed up individula mailboxes. So now i would like to ask,Is that user has been deleted from the Active directory ? If the user account is removed from the Active Directory, create a new user account and mailbox using the original name.
If the username still exists and its mailbox as well, Open the NME GUI and chane the browse time to the date you are looking to recover from, this should populate the individual mailboxes that you are backing up (using the saveset MSEXCH:MB/ ) , you should find the mailboxes names under the tree to recover. but if the mailbox and user account has been deleted, you have to re-create them with the original name.
