Hi,
We have no problems with the backup of our exchange 2010 mailbox db, but failed to recover the database.
Configure information:
Networker server and client version: 7.6.2

Using the NMM GUI with mb-01.vpbtc.labmof.vn to recover but failed with following message:

Hello Tien,
When performing a restore on DAG environments you need to select the DAG client to browse/restore, otherwise NMM/NetWorker won't find any coverset to be restored, as per error message:
nsrsnap_vss_recover: No cover-sets found in NW server [emcbackup.vpbtc.mof.vn] for time of [1319012519].
You need to manually add the DAG client (with FQDN) in NMM GUI:
Options->Configure Options->Click on the "refresh button" (2 green arrows) and add the client from the list on the left hand side.
Let us know if that works for you.
Thanks.
Carlos.

Hi Carlos,
I'm using the NMM GUI with dag1.vpbtc.labmof.vn instead of mb-01.vpbtc.labmof.vn to recover but doesn't show any save set or database to restore...
Checked the server index and there is no index for client dag1.vpbtc.labmof.vn. Is this normal?
Thank you
Tien

Hi Tien,
That is not normal, but I guess that the client has not been created yet for the DAG client, can you please check?
Note that the creation of a client entry is required despite the backup will never be ran for the DAG itself, it's for indexing purposes.
If you have any doubt please check the following article about how to configure NMM for Exchange 2010 DAG backups:

Thank you.
Carlos.
