Hi Devdutta,

Which log did you extract that output from?

This seems to be SAP output (BRTOOL) and not NetWorker, right?

Have you checked /nsr/tmp/sg/group_name logs in NetWorker server for tat particular group?

Has this ever worked before?

Thank you.

Carlos.

Devdutta,

First things first. Is the group ending as successful or as failed?

If successful, have you tried a restore of any of those SAP backups?

If failed, what is the error message shown in NMC in the group completion report?

Thank you.

Carlos.

Thanks,

Hi Devdutta,

Can you find any other messages related to that from the OS itself ?

Check the log file which is used by BRBackup for verification, it needs to be in the location specified. If you have backed up and removed the contents of /oracle/SHP/sapbackup . you need to put back the backSHP.log file

check if file /oracle/SHP/sapbackup/backSHP.log exists. if it exists, change permissions on it.if it does not exist, go get it from the original server.

I recommend you as well to open a service request with EMC suppor to investigate more those messages.

Thanks,

Ahmed Bahaa
