Getting probe Job unrecoverable Failure

HI, Getting an error like lpr: error - no default destination available. printing bootstrap information failed (reproduced below). Can anyone justify what is the problem in this . Rajesh

Sorry, I went by the test not the title of the thread. Both of them are error though.

Probe job error would come when the server is not able to contact the client for backups. This is normally due to some communications issue from server to client. It could be a dns issue or a network issue. You can also get this error if the services are not running on the client.

Hi, I hope this is not a printing such kind of issue , If i give start now for a backup , Immediately it shows the group has failed to take a backup , If i click on show details it shows like this kind of error . Hope now you got my question .

This is because in the Bootstrap notification, you have configured printing as the option but no priter is configured for it. Therefore, it is not able to print the bootstrap information.

Admin guide has details on how to configure the printer in Networker.

Yes , You are correct , What happen was somebody formatted the client server . Hopefully the problem is because of that .Anyhow Thanks a lot ..Rajesh
