How can I get Veeam and EMC networker on same backup server to use 1 tape drive each from the tape library
We have a single backup server with both Veeam and Networker on it.
A fibre channel tape library with 2 tape drives is connected to this server and currently being used by EMC networker only.
Veeam is only doing backups to hard disk.
But I want to use 1 tape drive with Veeam and 1 tape drive with EMC Networker.
I have a concern that if I configure multiple jobs in Veeam then it might end up using both the tape drives thus stopping the Networker from using the tape drive or vice versa.
Is there a way if I can make only drive in the library usable by each technology?

They will mostly likely clash over robotics even if you define which drive to use within each other. Only way to do this properly is by virtualizing library (if that is possible via library software) and have 2 logical libraries assign to each backup solution with one different drive each.
