How to disable VM quiescing in Networker 8.2 (VBA)
Is it possible to disable VM quiescing at a policy or VM level in Networker?
Networker-VMware integration guide lists only the quiescing options for the application level when VADP (legacy!) is used.
We are using Networker in the VMware integrated mode with VBA and EBR.

In my experience, yes... but it's a bit of a pain. As it's Avamar under the hood, it will respect the "[avvcbimage]quiesce_fs=false" flag on a given dataset. But that means going into the mccli interface on the EBR to do it, I believe.

Yes you can use it as workaround. disable quiescing for image backup may introduce restore inconsistency.
You can also disable quiesce using a proxy command flag file:
1. Logon to each proxy and edit /usr/local/avamarclient/var/avvcbimageAll.cmd
2. Remove the comment #" from the beginning of the following line:
Before edit:
#--quiesce_fs=true
After edit:
--quiesce_fs=true/False
