IBM Tape Drivers

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find Drivers for IBM LTO4 devices for Windows 2008 R2 ?

Windows 2008 server does come with supported drivers for the tape devices, It does recognise that I have IBM drives attached.

However the drivers are giving me problems, and I want to try to use IBM specific drivers.

I have tried installing IBM drivers 6.1.9.6 on the backup server, but it says that the latest drivers are currently installed.

I think that the drivers I want to install is either not supported by Windows 2008, because all my Windows 2003 storage nodes are using these drivers.

Thanks & Regards

We will be Implementing the Persistant Binding at a later stage.

First want to see  if IBM specific drivers will help.

Persistent binding can actually be done using the IBM driver software.

I downloaded version 6.2.0.9 and it actually tells you how you can use the software to enable persistent binding.
