I assume you are selecting appropriate date! Reports on the NMC are not saved forever, all kinds of reports have a retention set on it by default. try generating reports for the past week to check if it is realy an issue with generating the reports. If no then try what bingo hams suggested. if that too does not work, try renaming the jbosdb folder (of course after shutting down the NetWorker services)

rap.log does not contain any report - it just saves the information about resource changes.
Let me suggest that you restart NMC (only the 'gstd' service, not NetWorker) and retry.
