LDAP configuration / NMConsole issue

after about 90 minutes with support, we finally go LDAP configured, and we can login into the NM Console, with our network credentials.    Funny thing is, we can only see about 4 of the tabs, once we connect to the networker server.    "server" and "Devices" can't be selected.  All other tabs can be selected, including Media, Recover, etc.   I have a case open, but they aren't sure what's going on.   I was wondering if anyone else had run into this situation during their 8.2 to 9.2 upgrade.
