MSSQL2012 -received a network error (Severity 5 Number 7): The authentication credential was corrupted on decoding the credential
Hi All,
I'm facing with below issue while I',m trying to back up my sql database:
XBSA-1.0.1 nmm_241.Build.92 9376 Fri Jul 25 10:10:45 2014 _nwbsa_is_retryable_error: received a network error (Severity 5 Number 7): The authentication credential was corrupted on decoding the credential, the checksums do not match.
Also, I have attached some logs grab from the client side. Anyone faced this issue before?

Is this a new configuration or has this worked before?
Either ways i think the contents of your lockbox have got corrupted. Can you try creating a new instance of the client using the NMC Wizard and provide the correct credentials when asked.

I'm not able to create using NMM wizard; suspected due to NW server version (7.6.2) is lower than the client version (8.1) and it prompt me and error as below:
Are there any alternative to rebuild the corrupted lockbox?

You are on a very old version of NetWorker, at-least 7.6.3 would have done s little good. but 7.6.2 is too old. And i am not sure how to update the lockbox manually.
Did this work before or is it a new configuration.
