Mixed Tapes in a Library
I have just upgraded my tape library with a new LTO5 Drive to go along with the two exisiting LTO4 Drives.
How do I define what tapes go to what Library, I thought it was automatic, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Looking through the documentation on 7.6.1 (Administration Guide) I don't see anything that pops out at me telling me what to do; however in all honesty I may not be looking for the correct concept.

It doesn't. Nevertheless, if your tapes are LTO4 then all 4 drives will handle them ok. Just make sure to define device with NW as LTO4 type for LTO5 to avoid certain issues which may arise later on. If you have mixed media, then this is a bit of an issue as you must separate them with pools and assign drives to those pool.
