To see real usage on EDL you will need to use EDL console. To see what has been used by NW application you use mminfo command. mminfo is extremely powerful command giving you all data out there about your savesets in media database and among each other volume usage and ssid state as you asked. Check mminfo manual as there are already some examples in it and they could help you in learning this command better.

thanks for the response. We are using mminfo for almost everything - feeds into staging, cloning, performance reporting etc.

Our main problem is possibly more about underlying understanding of things networker does and why. Unfortunately the people who installed and configured networker for us have put in place a whole lot of things we don't understand and without an understanding of why certain things have been done we are struggling to maintain operations.

It doesn't help that there seem to be no third party Networker information out in the public domain - O'Reilly, Dummies guides etc.

Usually people doing such installations will have to leave some sort of documentation explaining what has been done (and preferably why). Sounds as this is not the case here - is there a chance to get in contact with those ppl?
