Can I move console server component (gst) from Solaris Sparc to Solaris x86?
Networker sparc is 7.3, Networker x86 is 7.6
Thanks in advance.

This is possible, but you will need to install the 32 bit GST package and run the recoverpsm command to recover the GST database. I believe the IP and client name is not changing. Please try this and let me know.

Hi Pablo,
Moving the console server from Solaris to RedHat is not supported. The Administration Guide which you can find on Powerlink at:
Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Software ~ J-O ~ Documentation > NetWorker Family > NetWorker > 7.6 & Service Packs
states: "The Console server of NetWorker can be moved from one computer to another only if
both computers use the same operating system".
If you want to try it anyway, you will find full instructions in the Administration Guide under 'Moving the Console Server'.
