NDMP connection issues
Hi Team,
I am facing this issues on my server ,(Below are error messages on savesets)
which says NDMP connection issues :-
nsrndmp_save: Detect the end of the NDMP connection to San1234tx:10000.
:nsrndmp_save: Error reading. System Error: An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket.
:nsrndmp_save: Error reading. System Error: An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket.
nsrndmp_save: Couldn't create ndmp connection to San1234tx
backup failed.
San1234tx:/vol/mirror_SAN01_cifs1: retried 1 times.
Could you please let us know ,on how to troubleshoot this issues..

It looks like connection from the server to NDMP box was interrupted or not possible (port 10000 is NDMP port).

I understand reply is not going to help you at this time, however may to helpful for someone searching
from netapp console use "services ndmp status -vserver "SVM name"" command and confirm whether session is establishing, if not it is network traffic issue, also trying changing the directory name format
