From what I recall, this is probably something to do with a manually started backup from the client command line where it does something that causes a job ID not to be created.
As long as it backs up and is complete in the media DB, there's no problem with actually recovering the data (which is the point of backup after all), so check it with mminfo rather than worrying about a jobsdb entry.
