NMC - Unable to connect to server
Hey guys,
I have a problem with using the NMC.
I can connect with the NMC but when I click on "Configuration" I get:
Unable to connect to server: Unable to authenticate with server : Authentication error; why = Client credential too weak.
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem?
I recently changed the authentication method from nsrauth/oldauth to just oldauth and then again bach to nsrauth/oldauth.
I run NetWorker 7.6.4 and NMC 8.0.1.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jan
You get this message if the Server contains nsrauth only.
So it seems the oldauth is not there now.
You may restart nsrexecd OR
- Stop nsrexecd
- Rename ..\nsr\res\nsrladb to .old
- Start nsrexecd
This will create a new nsrladb that has the default auth methods
