Hello,

I have this same problem and seems it happens only with some Hyper-V instances. There is kind of workaround for this one: do not choose problematic Hyper-V instance for backups. So you have to manually choose hyper-v instances that you want to backup, problem is that if there is new hyper-v instances then those are not automatically picked up for backups.

I have environment that have about 40 hyper-v instances and finding problematic ones is now fun task.

Regards

Henrik

Hi Mandri,

I see in the logs some permissions issues:

Unable to render the following message: 100127 1403606596 0 0 0 7884 8176 0 dc-ch1b2-hv.corp.local nsrsnap_vss_save NSR info 52 NMM %s the

This is an OS/Application error message, so you will need to check in Windows, AD or Hyper-V the permissions. Have you checked that?

Thank you,

Carlos

Hello all,

In some cases customer have overcomed the issue originated after installing Windows 2012 R2 update
Microsoft update KB2919355
by applying MS fix KB2966407

If you have already applied this fix, I would recommend you to raise a case with EMC support and request the fix provided under NW161433 for NW 3.0.1

Thank you,
