NetWorker 7.6 sp3 management console fails to start after update to java 6.33

Hi,

after I updated my java version to 6.33 I cannot start the NetWorker management console 7.6 sp3 any longer. It ends with the Error "Nicht signierte Anwendung fordert uneingeschränkten Zugang zum System. Unsignierte Ressource: http://nsrserver:9000/LGTOnmc/java/gwt.jar." (german - which mean in englisch like "not signed application requests unlimited access to system. unsigned ressource: http://nsrserver:9000/LGTOnmc/java/gwt.jar).

It runs with Java 6.32, but I would like to run 6.33 for security reasons.

Is there a way to fix this?

Regards

Martin

Hi Martin,

    This looks like NMC is unable to find a Java application installed on the server. Did you try to reinstall the NMC? Only NMC. Also you may clear the Java cache once.

Arun

The NMC runs on a different computer with an older java version as a client. So the server setup should be OK. How can I clear the Java cache?

Hi Martin,

You have to go to:

Control panel->Java->Temporary Internet Files->Settings->Delete files.

Note that this will delete the shortcut to NMC and you will need to open it then by programs->All programs->EMC->NMC

Thank you.

Carlos.
