Netware Backup Failure
Guys,
I'm a newbie when it comes to netware but getting this error on a new backup client for a netware server
auspc1cpg01:sys2:dellsftw/proto: No full backups of this save set were found in the media database; performing a full backup
SAVE.NLM: RPC error: Unknown host
SAVE.NLM: Cannot open SAVE.NLM session with auspwbupc1320.aus.amer.dell.com
backup server (auspwbupc1260) has the netware ip in its hosts file, and vice vearsa netware have backup server in its host file. there are no DNS or network issues on site.
The netware server is running NW v7.2.1 revB and the backup server is running NW 7.6.1
Can anyone offer me some guidance please ?

This error usually means there is a communication problem.

Greetings,
you should check the hosts file on the server and the client server, check either the name of the two.
