I forgot to add that we're running Linux AS 4

Page 6 of the 7.3.x release notes...

Suppressed output from Savegroup completion report will be stored in save output file
The output that is suppressed from the Savegroup completion report will be stored
in the save output file. Once created, the save output file can be found at
/nsr/tmp/sg/ /sso. . .
The name of the output file will be included in the savegrp completion report and
client notifications, with the following lines appended to each report to indicate
the applicable file name and date:
The complete output is available in the file
/nsr/tmp/sg/Default/sso.trout.legato.com.gHljPR.
This file may be removed after Tue Oct 23 09:59:05 2007
The save output file will be retained for a fixed period of time. The default
retention period is 7 days from the day it was created. This value can be changed
using the environment variable NSR_SAVEGRP_SS_OUT_RETENTION. The
value set for this variable is in units hour (168 would set the period to 7 days).
For example, to change the retention period for the save output file to 3 days:
1. From the Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel > System.
2. Click the Advanced tab, then click Environment Variables.
3. In the Environment Variables dialog box (below System Variables), click New.
4. In the Name field, enter NSR_SAVEGRP_SS_OUT_RETENTION
5. In the Value field, enter 72.
This will set the NSR_SAVEGRP_SS_OUT_RETENTION to 72 hours, or 3 days.
6. (On Windows 2000 only) Click Set.
7. Click OK.
If the /nsr/debug/NO_SUPPRESS file is created, the entire contents of the save
output will be included in the completion output without preprocessing. If
/nsr/debug/NO_SUPPRESS does not exist, the truncated (preprocessed) output
will be included in the completion and savegroup notifications. In both cases, the
name of the file will be included at the end of the output if the file exists. The
completion attribute in the group resource will only have the edited contents from
the save output. The name of the file will be included in the completion attribute.
The old output files will be deleted by savegrp at the start of the group run when
the retention time has been met or exceeded. The output of savefs will not be
retained by default. If savegrp is run with the -d option where the value is > 1, the
savefs output will be retained.

I think it is a good addition.

Fixes for what? That's normal message and no harm is done. Truth is that it should not escape as it should be debug one. There have been certain binaries created to override that, but for that you will need to contact support.
