Networker 7.5.2 build 452 supported by windows 2000 server sp 4

Networker 7.5.x dropped the support for Windows 2000 servers for Networker server and Storage node, Windows 2000 is only supported as a Networker client, not as a Networker server.

Please check the software compatibility guide for more information about OS's supported with Networker 7.5.x.

• Ok Now if I want to upgrade my Windows operating system from windows 2000 server to windows 2003 server then what steps I have to performed for saving Networker configuration.

Hi,

You can make a copy of directories ...\nsr\res, ...\nsr\mm and ...\nsr\index (if the last one is too big, you can restore from tape later). Also, gstdb info if you have Networker Management Console installed on the same server. You can recover Networker Server from tapes with mmrecov command (for \res and \mm directories) and nsrck -L7 (for \index), too.
