Networker 9.x email notification subject

Hello all.

This a question about customization in email notifications.

The mail notification can be 'on completion' or 'on failure', so i want to create a mail notification in a policy by adding the following command 'on completion':

smtpmail -h smtp_server -s "Policy ${NSR Policy} completed" –f sender@mail  recipient_mail

The email that will comes will have as subject "Policy xxxx completed" so in order to find out if the policy is 'successful', 'successful with warnings' or 'failed' you have to open the email and check it from the body message.

Does anyone have manage to modify the mail subject so the backup status ('successful', 'successful with warnings' or 'failed') displayed in subject line?

Thanks in advanced for any reply

since the old notifications don't work anymore, I'm trying to figure out myself, in v9.1.1.4, how to simply receive failure notifications to my inbox, yet overa l group completion status to another email address. it is now too complicated to see how to set this up. The implementation specialist from Dell EMC who upgraded our sever infrastructure for us, can't even figure out how to help us set up this notification, that was working fine with v8.x and lower

Wow Michael - you are working with a version that has not been even released yet.

I see what you are trying to do, but I would say best bet is to have it configured when it failed and rely on that.

Best thing would be if engineers would implement ${Object_status} on which you report and ability to use that one in subject line.
