Networker Server 8.2.1.2 and client version on Windows 2003?

Question

Dear Community, sorry for the noob question but I really need your kind advice . Scenario: Networker Server 8.2.1.2 on Windows 2008 R2 Clients upgrade needed on Windows 2003 Sp2 (now client 7.1.3 build 404) Windows 2003 R2 Sp2 (now client 7.3 SP4 Build 558) Both are 32 bit. Which client version is the most suitable for these machines? Thank you very much!

As always, EMC recommends to use the latest version. For Windows 2003 clients this would be NW 8.1.x - NW 8.2.x is not supported on Windows 2003 any more.
