Networker User for Sybase (NMDA) - Login failed

Hello Community,

i'm a beginner on these topics and i'm trying to backup a Sybase database with the EMC Networker Clint, but unfortunately the login fails.

The first login is successfull and i can see the different databases, choose which one to backup and hit "Start".

After that, the backup client attempts to login again and fails with the following error message:

Backing up files of client 'host1' to server 'host2'.

24146:nsrdasv: Error from server XY1: Msg 4002, Level 14, State 1

Login failed.

24148:nsrdasv: CT-LIBRARY error:

ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.

72819:nsrdasv: We could not log into the database XY1.  Please check the user name and password in the configuration file.  We cannot print the user name and password in this error message for security reasons.

Backup completion time: Mon Sep 02 10:47:41 2013

The sysaudit logs this entry:

sa_role sybase_ts_role mon_role js_admin_role; ; ; ; , ::1, network password no encryption, 4067.14.1; ; /ase;

The Sybase configuration network password is deaktivated.

On a different system the backup procedure is running successfully.
