Networker support for LTO4?
Hello,
does anybody know if LTO4-drives are supported in Networker? If they aren't supported yet is there are date or Networker version announced? I couldn't find any information about that on powerlink.
We're planning to buy new hardware for our backup infrastructure and our IBM partner firm said, that they can offer us LTO4 drives in a TS3500/IBM3584 tape library in a few weeks instead of LTO3. They said that LTO4 isn't supperted yet but it would work with settings of LTO3. There would be the benefit of double sized tapes which would reduce the amount of needed slots in the library...
Please give me your opinion about that...
