Networker version in nsrladb not updated?

Hi All,

I have strange issue, I perform networker upgrade and migration cross platfrom from networker 7.5 --> 7.6 --> 8.2....It working smoothly, then I upgrade networker client in each of our server.....Every server can upgraded normally and I can backup using new networker server but only one server have strange behaviour, this server is Solaris 10 running on SPARC...this is my procedure upgrade networker client

1. Stop networker nsrexec service

2. Remove networker client 7.5

3. Install networker client 8.2

When I modify client using wizard in networker server, it's always say "On decoding the credential: the authentication credential was corrupted, the checksums do not match" and the progress cannot step further ( I cannot backup too).....So I try to change auth methods from nsrauth/oldauth become just using oldauth and still same, remote nsr peer informatin from both side still same error occur.....Then I try to query nsrla in nsradmin console, the networker client still refer to version 7.5, I uninstall the networker client and remove /nsr directory in solaris server then install networker 8.2 agent again but nsrla still refer to networker 7.5....I really confuse about this case, anyone ever experience this?...Thank you

7.5 to 8.2 is bold jump.  I would suggest to update client manually and to have nsrladb on client reinitiated.

You can do that when you have 8.2 running on it.  Stop daemons and just remove /nsr/res/nsrladb.  Then start it and it will be created from scratch.  You will need to remove old NSR peer for the client on server after that.
