What is this Embedded Storage Node? Is it something like the integrated storage node feature used for clonning on a EDL?
When you say that you cannot define the storage node, you mean you can't create the library itself, or you can't define the storage node in some field for any purpose?
Check first is Networker Server see in LAN environment storage node embedded name (nslookup or host is useful in this case).
If don't see, add line in Hosts file (Networker Server and Storage Node) with IP and Name.
All comments are true, Storage Node Embedded is only use for cloning. If need use Physical Library for restore need use DDS license for share drives between Networker Server and SN Embedded.
