Netwworker Errors

I am getting the following errors on three Netware clients. Has anybody experienced these issues on backup.

1.) Invalid save set or save set not available
2.) Probe job had unrecoverable failure(s)
- severe indication(s) at completion
3.) SEVERE: permission denied

Enable RAP. It captures all actions you do using the GUI.

Should capture this as well.

You can get all those if you used incorrect saveset.

I am not sure about Netware but these errors are there normally when,

1.) Invalid save set or save set not available

You have typed a save set that does not exist or you have misspelled a save set name.

2.) Probe job had unrecoverable failure(s)
- severe indication(s) at completion

Normally due to network issues.

SEVERE: permission denied

Server does not have permissions to backup a client. Update the servers file in /nsr/res folder of the client with servers' host name and restart services at the client.

Sorry I got this here by mistake.

Enable RAP. It captures all actions you do using the
GUI.

Should capture this as well.

I am sorry type-o, save set matches there has been no changes. Also, i have updated the res/servers file, but I am still getting SEVERE: permission denied.

Ah I see... so this is a setup where everything worked and then suddenly everything stopped to work? Are you aware of any changes in setup? Can you do client initiated backup? When on server, if you do rpcinfo -p do you get response?

Are you sure networker is running on NetWare box (actually RPC service)? I have zero knowledge of NetWare, but you should be able to communicate via RPC with box - otherwise things fail. If you have some other NetWare box you could verify it by running same command against that box.
