Offline The Networker module application and SQL instance

My problem is that When restoring a database to another host, the source host SQL module it generates errors,

66212:nwmssql. Cannot Login to Sql Server xxxxx\INSTANCIA

38006:nwmssql. A network-related or instance-specific error has ocurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible.

Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is Configured to allow remote connetions. For more information see SQL Server Book online

connection if the user has permission to sys and administration on the physical node.

thanks for their future contribution

Hi Carlos

I am attaching a note most of my structure.

1. - It contains the correct names in client instance and Host

2. - HOST level permissions are Administrator and Database Instance level are sys admin

3 SQL SERVER 2008 R2

Note

This team is a cluster of two physical nodes, 1 physical node with two reference instances, if you open the SQL module if performed Networker recovery, 2 with 1 node instance reference and does not open the Networker SQL module does not allow recovery.

Virtual Cluster refers to node 2 as active virtual connecting me to the same error generates the SQL module

Hi Juan,

I would check a couple of things first:

1.- Ensure that the source and the client have the correct entry names (for example *@source_name and *@target_name)

2.- Ensure that the required permissions are set in the source target to allow remote connections.

What version of SQL are we talking about?

Thank you.

Carlos.
